Wheel Building
Wheel building is an art.  It requires an in-depth knowledge of components, skills and understandings of rider applications.  A good customized wheelset is generally easier and cheaper to maintain.  Discuss your expectation and application with our experience wheel builder for recommendations. 

Our wheels are built with high quality DT Swiss spokes, using Campagnolo dishing tools, Parktools wheel truing stand and tension meter, precise DT Swiss spoke wrench.   All wheels built are pre-loaded to achieve stability.

Wheel Maintenance
Bicycle wheels rely on spoke tensions for stability, alignment and roundness.  Since rim and spokes are the closest to the ground, they are always stressed while supporting the riders weight and suffering bumps from the uneven ground.  As a result, the material fatigues in the spokes and rim can cause the wheel structure to go out of true and roundness.  At some instances, a highly stressed out spokes may break during a riding session and create undesirable situation for the rider.

We highly recommend riders to bring in their wheels for checking and maintenance at least once a year for weekend rider and whenever the wheel is out of alignment tolerance for frequent training rides.

Hubs Maintenance
The hub is the center of the wheel which support the wheel to the bicycle.  Regular hub maintenance is essential as the grease that facilitate the bearings may wear off after a prolong period of use.  Additionally, the hub internal is subjected to contamination with dirt particles especially for those mountain bikers who ride in wet and muddy conditions.  Please feel free to speak to us to learn more about your hubs.
